Meet the EnStar Team

Senior Staff
Listed below are the credentials for our senior staff.

Donald W. Johns, President
Mr. Johns is the President and Co-Founder of EnStar Energy L.L.C. He brings over 35 years of experience to the company and an intimate knowledge of the United States' energy markets.

In addition, Mr. Johns is the founder of the Michigan Independent Power Producers Association and has served as the Director of that Association since June 1998. Mr. Johns has frequently been called upon to provide expert testimony on various matters in adversarial proceedings before the Michigan Public Service Commission. Mr. Johns is currently the Vice President of the Michigan Sustainable Energy Coalition ("MSEC") and is a member of the Energy Supply Technical Work Group of the Michigan Climate Change Action Council.

Mr. Johns has a Bachelors of Science, with honors, in Systems Science Engineering from Michigan State University and a Masters of Business Administration also from Michigan State University.

Richard Dula, Senior Energy Consultant
Mr. Dula brings to EnStar knowledge of the renewable energy industry as well as extensive experience in auditing commercial and small industrial facilities.  Mr. Dula has over a decade of experience with utility regulatory and energy issues.  Mr. Dula attended Albion College, graduating in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.  He attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School from 1995 to 1998.  In December 2001, Mr. Dula obtained a Master of Public Administration from Western Michigan University.

Heather Peck, Office Manager
Mrs. Peck has been the Office Manager at EnStar since 1998. Mrs. Peck earned her Bachelor of Business Administration Degree, with honors, in Office Administration and Management and her Associate of Business Administration Degree, with honors, in Legal Office Administration from Baker College. 

Brent Wilson, Sales Tax Processor
Mr. Wilson has been with EnStar since May of 2009. He provides EnStar clients with the valuable service of asssisting them in the sales tax recovery process.

EnStar has regional auditors throughout Michigan.  Below is a list of field auditors:
